MB nib unit removal tools
Posté : 15 août 2011 10:31
Hi,
The nib units are sealed in the section by MB, only in exceptional cases one can screw the nib unit out by hand.
Normally one needs a dedicated nib removal tool for eash nib size.
The nib removal tool engages in the 2 axial slots in the nib housing.
Note the "vintage" pens have axial slots at 9 and 3 o'clock, while on "modern" versions the slots are at 8 and 4 o'clock.
This implies one needs a different tool not only per nib size, but also different for modern & vintage pens.
I make these tools
Regards, Francis
